Archie says about the function scene,” I love playing at wedding and functions and if I can get everyone singing and enjoying themselves it gives me a real buzz . I have supreme confidence in my band who have been all over the UK playing to all sorts of people. We’ve recently added Bruno Mars. ” uptown Funk and it’s going down a storm !
Paul (lead guitar)
Paul teaches guitar in between gigs and see the band as an ever changing project, “every wedding / function is different so we don’t have a set formula, we interchange songs and can learn first dances / special requests” says Paul.
Paul is heavily influenced by the blues guitar players of the past, Buddy Guy and Jimi Hendrix to name a few. He has his own unforgettable own unique style. Regarding Superfuzz Paul says “We play party classics by the Beatles , the Monkeys etc mixed with some good contemporary tunes , ” Uptown Funk ” and “Sing” by Ed Shearan, and have just brought into the function set two new numbers by James Bay and Olly Murrs .

Lately we have been doing a number of acoustic sets to keep guests entertained through the day.
Martin is an accomplished songwriter and has penned some fabulous original material which is available through soundcloud . One track he wrote for the weddings scene is “honey honey ” a catchy pop tune which will have your guests dancing oblivious to the fact it is self penned
Nigel has been playing drums in various bands since leaving School and is the founding member of Superfuzz which he started 8 years ago .About the function scene Nigel says ”I love to see people dancing at our gigs enjoying our music, it makes all the travelling and setting up worth it. The function scene can be long hours and hard work for bands so we try to enjoy ourselves and convey this to our audience. Song choice is very important to us and we refresh our song book every year. At weddings we always try to respect the brides big day and do our up-most to make the day go with a real swing. On the site you will find the band blog where you can read about some of our trials and tribulations. Wedding venues vary so much , we can be playing outside in a massive marquee one night, the next be playing in the drawing-room of a stately home . Acoustics are important and we always strive for a big live sound”
